Initially a rather shy and introverted male, Inigo was very anxious with everything that surrounded him in life. Due to this anxiety, he spent a lot of his time with his mother, Olivia, where he started to pick up how to dance. This helped with his stress and anxiety, although it was something that only his mother got to witness, as he felt incredibly embarrassed about talking to any of the other children about it. He would get extremely emotional when surrounded by those that he trusted, harbouring a rather sensitive and shy side.
Realising that he was having troubles with talking to people, Olivia convinced her son to talk to girls, believing that it would be a nice changed for him and that he would feel more confident in doing so. Unfortunately, Inigo took this a little further than she had meant, turning him into a womanising male who flirted with anybody that gave him the chance to speak. The flirting did benefit him greatly, as it helped to hide his fears and allow him to become closer to some people, albeit they weren't too fond of the constant remarks and compliments.
Inigo constantly wished to make others feel happy and better about themselves, sometimes at the expense of himself. Always wishing to see everyone with a grand smile on their faces, his compliments were not simply made to try and garner admiration and love; he wanted to genuinely make people feel better about themselves and remind them of how wonderful they were in his eyes.When given the chance, he attempted to be there for his friends, trying to brighten their days up whenever possible. While these comments were quick to be passed off as nothing more than flimsy compliments, Inigo only spoke the truth. He longed for a future where everyone would smile, even if his own smile was usually just a cover up for his concerns and anxiety, something that he inherited from his mother.
Since arriving in Nohr and undergoing a change in his appearance, Laslow has changed significantly from his previous iteration. While he continues to make the occasional flirtatious comment towards those who give him the time of day, he does not use the flirts as a simple excuse to chase skirts, instead seeing it as a chance to become closer to someone and find out more about them. While he is still a little shy when it comes to approaching others, he can usually mask this with his smile, also having matured significantly. He retains the wish to make everybody smile and feel better about themselves, wishing for people to see and understand just how wonderful they are to him. In this time, Laslow is also seen as much wiser, often giving advice to those that need it.
Laslow suffers deeply from a sense of homesickness, wishing to return home after the war is over and visit his mother, to ensure that she is alright. Because of this wish to take care of his family, he is extremely protective and encouraging towards Soleil, wishing for her to make the most of her life and inspire others with her smile, much like he attempted to. He understands the importance of parenthood and why his parents wished to protect him during their time together, so he wishes to do the same with his daughter.
Story
After the engagement of a noble lord and a timid performer, Inigo was born as the second child of the married couple, Olivia and Chrom, who served as the exalt of Ylisse, and leader of the Shepherds. Inigo spent many of his days watching his mother perform, whether it be in front of the army for a morale boost, or while alone, practicing. While his elder sister, Lucina, chose to primarily follow in her father's footsteps and showed interest in the exalt life, Inigo was far more interested in following his mother's profession; made difficult by the shyness that he had inherited from the pink-haired performer. Noticing the anxiety that Inigo suffered from, his mother encouraged him at a young age to talk to girls, in the hopes that it would help him combat these fears. However, he took her suggestion too far, to the point that he developed quite a bad habit of flirting with girls, believing that what he was doing was the right way to approach them.
Inigo suffered a fatal loss in his life at a young age, when his father was slain during the Rise of Grima. After the death of Chrom, Ylisse became overrun by a legion of Risen, causing chaos to run amok across the land. While Olivia continues in her efforts to raise her two children by herself, her attempt to do so was eventually cut short. While in the midst of teaching Inigo the steps to her favourite dance, a sudden assault by the Risen brought about the death of the dancer, with Inigo and Lucina narrowly escaping with their own lives. Among the events, Olivia had given her life to protect the children, a sacrifice that would haunt Inigo's memory for years to come.
After his mother's passing, Inigo retained the wedding ring that Olivia had always worn, choosing to wear it with pride, refusing to ever part with the ring due to the special memories that it held for him. Alongside his sister, as well as the other children who had lost their parents to the Risen attacks that cropped up over the continent, Inigo began to learn how to effectively combat the enemy forces, becoming proficient with a sword. In his spare time, he continued to practice as a dancer, though he only did so when by himself, dedicating each dance to his parents. Over the years, he continued to refine his performances, hoping that in doing so, he would make his mother proud of him.
Eventually, the children of Ylisse's Fallen created a plan, in which they would send themselves back in time thanks to the assistance of Naga, though they would have no control as to what time they would arrive in, After traversing through the portal, Inigo found himself near one of the many villages that surrounded the Great Gate. Hearing that residents of the village were being threatened by a group of bandits, Inigo hurried along to the town. To his surprise, he was not the only one who had arrived with the intention of helping, as the Shepherds were also present. Though his memories of his father's appearance were very faint, due to how long it had been since his last sight of him, Inigo quickly came to the realisation that the man before him was his father, proven by the existence of the Sign of the Exalt in his right eye. While he was overjoyed to see both his mother and father again, he knew that his priority at the time was protecting the village, while also hoping that he may be able to secure a date with one of the village maidens. Hurrying off to combat the thieves, it was no easy feat, but the bandits were eventually defeated and dispatched of, due to the combined forces of the Shepherds and Inigo.
After the conflict died down, Inigo approached the Shepherds, with his intent being to talk to his mother. Eventually, he managed to reach her, where he revealed his identity as her son, proving it by showcasing her wedding ring, which had remained upon his finger. While initially shocked and overwhelmed to find out that she had two children from the future, Olivia was overjoyed to be united with Inigo, though the two quickly get flustered when the topic of their dancing is brought up. Happy to have reunited with his mother, Inigo plans to go and spend his evening with the village maiden that he had saved during the bandit altercation, though Chrom claims that he would be left behind if he did so. Inigo rightfully chose to travel with the Shepherds over the aforeplanned date, believing that protecting his mother was much more important than a random date.
From that moment onward, Inigo proved to be an instrumental part of the forces against Grima, not only proving to be an inspiration to those who had traveled back due to his bright smile, but also proving his worth through his swordsmanship in combat. Eventually, Grima was overthrown and defeated by the Shepherds. Following the end of the war, Inigo continued to traverse the land as a wandering mercenary; assisting any villages who found themselves under attack from the remaining threats, and providing entertainment through the honing of his performances, a life which he came to enjoy. During this time, Inigo came to recognise the error of his ways when it came to his flirtatious habits, making a promise to himself that he would improve; not only for himself, but also his parents.
However, this did not spell the end of Inigo's adventures, for it wasn't long until the performer was approached by a mysterious hooded figure, along with two of his allies from the future, Severa and Owain. The eerie figure told them of the events that were to transpire in Nohr, and provided them with a task; to protect the figure's child, though the mysterious individual was unable to recall the name of their child. While reluctant to leave behind the families and friends that they had fought so long to return to, the trio recognised that they couldn't turn down a request from someone who was so distressed, especially after their own ordeals. After agreeing to assist the hooded figure, they were taken from Ylisse, having their names altered, and their identities changed entirely, complete with a change of hair color. The name 'Inigo' was lost to history, as the performer undertook his new name; Laslow.
After receiving a blessing from the hooded figure, revealed to be Anankos, Laslow found that he had the power to invigorate his nearby allies, though commented that it paled in comparison to his mother's abilities. Nonetheless, the trio continued to fight until they eventually found themselves arriving in Nohr.
Upon arriving in Nohr, the trio of allies initially spent their time residing in a mercenary camp, a lifestyle which Laslow had previously been all too familiar with. Living in such conditions due to a lack of funds, as well as to familiarise themselves with the realm around them, it wasn't long until Laslow heard rumours about an upcoming event; a chance to spar with the Crown Prince of Nohr himself. Seeing it as a suitable challenge to test his ability in this newfound realm, Laslow went along to the gathering, where he issued a challenge to the Nohrian royalty. Under the King's watchful eye, the two fought one another, with Laslow's unorthodox fighting style and determination impressing the Crown Prince, so much so that he took Laslow on as a personal retainer. Laslow swore loyalty to Xander, though he constantly longed to return home, suffering from a severe case of homesickness.
On many nights, Laslow would venture out into the woods that surrounded Nohr's grand castle, where he would continue to practice his dance moves, hoping that one day, he may be reunited with his mother, where he could show her what he has learnt, and how far he had come. During his time in Nohr, he also found that he had matured significantly, no longer simply chasing skirts for the sake of it, nor mindlessly flirting with everyone for the sake of a conversation. Instead, he changed his ways, making the intention of his conversations to bring joy and smiles to the lives of those that he encountered. While he was no stranger to granting compliments to those that he talked with, it earned him a better reputation, though he still found himself in a fair share of trouble due to the villagers who would complain about his repeated visits.
The retainer was once again instrumental in the War that raged within the realm, often appearing by Xander's side, doing what he could to ensure that the Crown Prince remained protected. Laslow was happy to assist in the final battle and bring change to the land, as it meant that a bright future would be secured for all of those who resided in both Nohr and Hoshido.
After the war was over and Anankos was slain, Laslow approached Xander, explaining his true identity and reason for coming to Nohr. While surprised at the revelations made by the performer, Xander recognised that Laslow had a family to return to, and asked what he intended to do. Laslow found himself reluctant to provide a proper answer, as while he did wish to return home and reunite with his parents, he recognised that he couldn't stifle the growing up of the younger him, nor did he wish to abandon Xander, after all that they had been through. The two came to an agreement, in which Laslow would remain as a retainer for Xander, but he would have permission to visit Ylisse at any time that he pleased, permitting that he agreed to stop causing troubles in the villages with his flirtatious ways. While initially jesting with the Crown Prince, Laslow was quick to agree, finding it to be a perfect compromise. He returned to Ylisse, where he was greeted by his elder sister, his father. and his teary-eyed mother, explaining to them where he had been, and making a promise to them; that he would return to visit them every once in a while. Reunited for the first time in so long, Laslow was finally content with his life.

Headcanons
— The gold chain he wears on his hip is the same one his late mother Olivia wore.
— At one point, Inigo retained Olivia's headband, though he gave this to Soleil when she was growing up.
— With his significant other, he loves to give them pet names or silly nicknames as a showing of his affection.
— While he does not feel comfortable talking about or performing in front of people, enough time spent with someone will lead him to open up and discuss it, with perhaps even the chance of offering to dance with them.
— He is very nimble on his feet. This gives him a decent chance of evading most things.
— He loves to go on walks in the evening, typically sleeping in the early hours of the morning to accommodate this.
— Laslow tends to leave the castle at night, so that he can practice his dancing in the nearby woodlands.
— His swordplay incorporates both his agility as a dancer, as well as the techniques that he learned through Feroxi swordmasters. Because of this, he is quite gifted with a sword, beating many who challenge him.
— Beneath his bed in Nohr, he has a little scrapbook with pictures that were taken from Ylisse. These feature both his friends and his family.
— He loves dancing to the sound of instruments, particularly being infatuated with the piano.
— Laslow hates it when people stare at him, bringing out his anxiety. He will grow visibly uncomfortable with it, to the point of sweating nervously.
— He loves to either hold hands or link arms with anyone who will give him a chance. However, he holds onto his rejections from the past, often remembering if someone turns him down.
— During his time as a child, Olivia would sing a song about sunshine to Inigo, which always managed to calm him down if he was stressed or upset. When Soleil was born, he continued this tradition, eventually naming her after the sunshine, which matched her smile; bright and warm.
— Despite being Chrom's child, Inigo showed no intention of wielding the Falchion, always believing that it would remain by Lucina's side.
— Unbeknownst to Inigo, he IS capable of perfectly wielding the Falchion, though he is yet to find this out for himself. When attempting to find out, neither Lucina or Inigo stuck around to see the results, while Chrom found the results, but failed to see the cause.
